Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Front Loader and Skid Steer Operators to join our winter snow removal team. You will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to clear snow from commercial properties, parking lots, and residential sites throughout Winnipeg. This position transitions to our landscaping division during summer months, where you'll operate the same equipment for excavation, grading, and material handling projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate front loaders and skid steers with various attachments (snow blades, buckets, snow blowers) for snow removal operations Clear and manage snow piles at commercial and residential sites across Winnipeg Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance according to manufacturer specifications Work closely with ground crews and truck drivers to ensure efficient snow removal operations Follow site-specific safety protocols and maintain awareness of surroundings Transition to summer landscaping operations including: Site grading and excavation for landscape construction projects Material handling and transport using loader buckets Operating attachments for specialized landscaping tasks Supporting concrete and hardscape installation projects

Requirements & Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years experience

operating front loaders and/or skid steers

Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver's license

(clean abstract preferred) Experience with winter operations and snow removal in Winnipeg conditions Ability to operate various attachments (snow blowers, buckets, blades) Understanding of equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting Must be available for early mornings, late nights, and extended hours during snow events Physical capability to work in extreme Manitoba weather conditions Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
