Position Scope:

NACG is looking for grader operators to work on a remote mining site in the Fort McMurray area. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.

Suncor

Schedule:

14x14 (paid for 12 hours) (Days and nights)

Accommodations:

Camp

provided. You are responsible for your own accommodations in Fort McMurray.

Transportation:

Bussing provided from Fort McMurray to site (before and after shifts)

Overtime:

Provided after 8 hours a day or 44 hours a week

Hourly Rate:

Up to $52.30 per hour

The successful candidate will be required to join the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 Years' experience operating 16/24 Grader M and/or H series. Must be able to read grade stakes and be familair with GPS. High school diploma, GED, and/or post-secondary education is considered an asset.

Be proficient in English, both verbally and written Have a valid Class 5 Driver's License Have experience as requested as mentioned above Subject to Random Testing at: Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites Undergo and successfully pass the following testing: Breath Alcohol Test Urine Drug Test Fitness-to-Work Assessment Audiometric Testing Vision Screening Criminal Record Check

Shift, site, and start times are subject to change.


All successful candidates

CSO or BSO Certification Copy of Valid Class 5 Driver's License Copy of recent Driver's Abstract VOID cheque/direct deposit form Silica Awareness

Once dispatched the following processes will occur:

Will receive a call from NACG to set up all required pre-employment testing An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out After all results are received by NACG candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site specific details.

Please note the entire On-boarding process can take anywhere from 3-8 business days.
