We are currently seeking an experienced

Heavy Equipment Operator

with a

Red Seal Certification

to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a skilled operator who has experience in

foundation work, precision excavation

, and working on residential or commercial job sites.

Responsibilities

Operate excavators for foundation excavation, trenching, grading, and backfilling Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grading layouts Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Work effectively on residential and commercial job sites Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures Coordinate with site supervisors and crew to complete projects on schedule Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment usage

Requirements

Red Seal Certification

as a Heavy Equipment Operator (required) Minimum

3 years of experience

operating excavators in construction or landscaping Proficiency in

foundation excavation and tight-tolerance digging

Experience in sewer and city water tie-ins Valid driver's license (Class 1 or 3 an asset) Ability to read site plans and work independently or in a team Strong understanding of safety procedures and job site best practices Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for outdoor work
