\xc2\xb7Shift Rotation: 2 weeks in 2 weeks out | 3 weeks in 3 weeks outJob Duties:\xc2\xb7 Responsible for supporting the customer out in the field or on site with superior service and product expertise to maintain extremely high standards that ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner with the utmost integrity\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors at all times, in support of the company\'s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives\xc2\xb7 Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment\xc2\xb7 Maintain quality workmanship to repair Caterpillar equipment within the established time standards out in the field or on site.\xc2\xb7 Prepare accurate service and repair reports in an accurate and timely manner\xc2\xb7 Maintain excellent communication and trusted customer relationships through regular on-site visits\xc2\xb7 This position requires fly in fly out to remote company mining support and service locations, primarily for mining operations.Skills, Experience and Education Required:\xc2\xb7 College diploma or equivalent technical experience\xc2\xb7 + 5 years of experience in repair and service of heavy equipment both in the shop and in the field is mandatory
\xc2\xb7 minimum 5 years of experience in a CAT dealership is mandatory\xc2\xb7 Experience in the mining sector is an asset\xc2\xb7 Safety conscious with a diverse knowledge of Caterpillar products and systems\xc2\xb7 A basic knowledge of cutting, welding and fabrication\xc2\xb7 Able to read and understand prints, drawings, and technical bulletins\xc2\xb7 Analytical with knowledge of mechanics in electrical and hydraulic systems\xc2\xb7 Customer centric with excellent relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills\xc2\xb7 Proven ability to complete repairs/service within established time guidelines in a busy, fast paced environment where priorities are constantly changing\xc2\xb7 Self-directed team player with strong initiative, business acumen and integrity\xc2\xb7 Focused, energetic, and organized with superior attention to detail and a sense of urgency\xc2\xb7 Willing to work flexible shifts to meet the demands of the business, including afternoon shifts\xc2\xb7 Strong computer skills and familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS would be beneficial)\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of competitors\' equipment would be an asset\xc2\xb7 Adaptable to on-call working schedules and willing to work in all weather conditions
