Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Duty Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and assisting customers in need of roadside assistance. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate tow trucks effectively in various conditions.

Responsibilities

Operate tow trucks and other vehicles to transport disabled or damaged vehicles safely. Respond promptly to calls for roadside assistance, including jump-starts, tire changes, and lockouts. Conduct pre-trip inspections of towing equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of services provided and vehicle condition. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding service requests and estimated arrival times. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction. Perform basic mechanical repairs as needed to assist stranded motorists. Follow all safety protocols while on the road and at job sites.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues and perform basic repairs. Experience operating Heavy Duty Tow Trucks Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients during stressful situations. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is required for operating tow trucks. Familiarity with automotive repair processes is beneficial for providing effective roadside assistance. Must Have Ontario Tow License

Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
