Job description
We currently have a full-time position available for a
Heavy Duty
Tow Truck Operator
at our
Hartland
location.
The Heavy Duty Tow Truck Operator is responsible for safely load, unload, and transport vehicles using a tow truck. This can be a physically demanding position.
Responsibilities and requirements:
Operate tow truck to transport heavy vehicles safely to designated locations.
Conduct vehicle inspections before towing to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Perform basic mechanical tasks on vehicles when needed
Maintain accurate records of services provided, including vehicle condition and any incidents that occur during transport.
Respond to calls promptly and professionally.
Keep the tow truck clean and well-maintained, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the tow truck.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in commercial driving or towing is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
Schedule:
Full-time position with schedule weekends off
Available to work flexible shifts
On call shift
