Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service and safety, ensuring that vehicles are transported efficiently and securely. This role requires a blend of driving expertise, mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication skills to provide top-notch service to our clients in various situations.

Responsibilities

Operate tow trucks to transport vehicles safely from one location to another. Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls, providing support for stranded motorists. Conduct vehicle inspections before towing to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on arrival times and services rendered. Utilize mechanical knowledge to assess minor vehicle issues and provide basic troubleshooting assistance. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including mileage and fuel usage. Ensure the tow truck is kept clean and well-maintained, performing routine checks on equipment. Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to optimize service delivery.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally. Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair is highly desirable. Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory. Previous experience in a towing or roadside assistance role is an advantage ONTARIO TOW LICENSE IS A MUST Will be operating heavy duty tow truck and light flat deck as required experienced operators only apply

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38,690.44-$94,707.45 per year
