Responsibilities:
Driving and operating a Tandem Deck Tow Truck for transportation of disabled vehicles and equipment safely, efficiently, on and off highway, and under adverse climatic conditions.
Interact and communicate with customers & dispatcher in a courteous and respectful manner building relationships and trust.
Load/secure vehicle or equipment to the tow truck for transporting (this may include using a chain, straps, winch, steering locks, and other devices as well as fixing lights onto the towed vehicle).
Performs pre/post inspections along with routine maintenance logs, check fluids, lights, mirrors, and any other items effecting the safe operation of the vehicle.
Securing, tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo in conjunction with site/highway standards.
Write up reports of service; completion of daily paperwork (pre-post trip inspections, driver logbook, trip/client invoicing)
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience operating tandem deck tow truck or similar heavy duty vehicle
Experience in load securement.
Mine site experience in Fort McMurray
Must be able to work various shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to manipulate, handle or feel; reach with hands or arms; also required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Occasionally required to lift over 50 pounds.
Perform heavy manual labour for in adverse inclement weather.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Successful candidates must provide the following items prior to confirmation of their start date:
Comprehensive alcohol and drug test clearance letter
Copy of valid Class 3 or greater driver's license with (Q) air brake endorsement
Copy of clean current 5-year commercial driver's abstract
Copies of training certificates
