The new candidate will be required to perform skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of medium to heavy-duty vehicles, trailers, and specialized equipment when necessary. This position may require flexible hours and working in inclement weather as required.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesDisassembly, inspection, identification of repairs, repairing, and installation of new components

• Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Accurate completion of work orders, reports, and any other documentation.
• Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques.
• Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations.

(Duties are not limited to this summary)Qualifications

• Licensed Heavy Duty Technician
• Experience working with heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Service truck experience would be considered an asset.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Supportive of safe working conditions and adheres to occupational health and safety regulations.
