Job Description

Northside Construction Partnership is a locally owned heavy construction company with over 50 years of experience in underground utility installations, subdivisions, and road construction in the central Alberta area. We are currently looking for a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic experienced with heavy equipment. You will be working as part of a small team out of our Red Deer Shop.

Heavy Equipment experience required (Including excavators, dozers, graders. Brands include Komatsu, CAT, & John Deere)

Strong mechanical aptitude

Understand equipment systems to effectively determine route for repairs

Perform preventative & unplanned maintenance and repairs

Diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repairs to heavy equipment

8-10 hour days, 5-6 days/week

Wage will vary depending on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43.00-$50.00 per hour

Experience:

heavy equipment: 4 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

driver's licence (required) Journeyman Certificate (preferred)
