All our employees play a vital role at Commercial, but our Heavy Duty/Truck and Trailer Mechanics are the backbone of the work we do. Commercial builds and supports vehicles for essential sectors such as fire, utility, towing, municipalities, and others, and we rely every day on our production team members to put vehicles together for these vital customers.
We're looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join the Commercial team and undertake the broad and diverse set of duties required to build and repair market-leading vehicles. The successful candidate will likely have a strong background with the combination of education and experience to confidently complete installation and repair of electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, aerials, cranes, plows, lights, and more. This is a vast scope of work and includes a very limited amount of repetitive work with active thinking and an excellent base of knowledge.
Employees that have been successful for us have come from broad and varied backgrounds but they all share a few common traits: They're curious, accountable, responsible, and independent logical thinkers with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability. They're technically savvy, and they can communicate politely and professionally with clients, engineering, parts, and procurement. We encourage all candidates with interest and direct or adjacent knowledge and experience to apply.
