Job Description

We're looking for a skilled HD Mechanic (Red Seal or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice) to join our team and perform maintenance, repair and diagnostic work on all kinds of off highway equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with different makes and models of equipment and be able to drive vehicles for testing purposes. The qualified individual will have mechanical knowledge as well as experience troubleshooting and performing routine service & inspections on vehicles, using specialized tools and equipment.This is strictly a field/mobile position, truck provided, may also consider mechanic with truck (must meet criteria). The candidate must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, make judgement calls when out of contact (e.g. no cell service, night shift/after hours). Must be able to pass a drug test if required by client's site. This is a safety sensitive job and we require candidates to be on their game so we can all go home safely.Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot heavy equipment systems.
• Read, record, and interpret mechanical diagrams, specifications and repair manuals.
• Be on-time for scheduled appointments.
• Customer satisfaction.
• Maintain safe driving habits and follow all traffic laws.
• Accurately communicate with customers, mechanics and dispatch.
• Communicate with team members and maintain accurate service reports/daily time cards.
