Key Responsibilities for a Technician:Demonstrate proficiency in the repair and diagnosis of, including but not limited to: engines, power trains, electrical systems, steering systems, electronics, brake systems; suspension systems as well as many add on implements associated with construction equipment.Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units.Perform all levels of preventive maintenance servicesIdentify warrantable repairs and document on repair order.Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or verify repair resolution.Complete technical reports from different manufacturers, in a timely accurate manner.Ability to work in a team environment and present themselves in a professional manner with a positive cooperative attitude.Maintain an organized work space and adhere to all company policies and procedures.Requirements:Completion of a College certification for Heavy Equipment Service and or Aig Technician- MINIMUM BLOCK 3 COMPLETIONAbility to lift and move a maximum 50 lbs, (or in accordance to provincial workplace health & safety standards)Willing and able to continue training to obtain and license.Clean Driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract and Criminal Reference checkBasic computer skills with the ability to work in Windows based software.Minimum 4 years experience in a Service environment.If you are highly motivated & energetic with a proactive attitude, we would like to hear from you.We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
