Job Title: Heat Treatment Operator/TechnicianJob Family: Manufacturing / Technical ServicesLocation: Windsor-Essex County:We are seeking a skilled Heat Treatment Operator/Technician to join a leading company. This position involves operating and maintaining heat treatment equipment to ensure the proper processing of materials. The Heat Treatment Operator/Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety within the production process.Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor heat treatment equipment to process materials as per specifications.
• Ensure precise control of temperature, pressure, and other variables to meet quality standards.
• Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal operation and prevent downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with heat treatment equipment and processes.
• Record and document process parameters, results, and maintenance activities.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on heat treatment equipment.
• Adhere to all safety and quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Assist with the development and improvement of heat treatment processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation and meet production targets.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in heat treatment or a similar manufacturing/technical field.
• Strong knowledge of heat treatment processes, equipment, and material properties.
• Experience with temperature control systems, furnaces, and related heat treatment equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and process documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve operational issues.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on heat treatment equipment.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and ability to follow all safety regulations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and handle potential overtime if needed.
• Must be willing to travel overseas for training and development opportunities.

Additional Skills:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment related to feed and biofuel industries is a plus.
• Certification in heat treatment or related technical fields is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
