part-time Receptionist / Hearing Assistant

based in

Courtenay (Driftwood Mall)

Hours:

Fridays 5:00?-?7:00?pm, Saturdays 10:00?am?-?6:00?pm, plus availability for

Christmas holiday hours

Responsibilities:

Welcome clients and answer inquiries, working primarily with seniors to create a cheerful and caring atmosphere. Schedule appointments and take initiative to ensure the schedule is full and efficiently managed. Assist with hearing aid servicing, including cleaning, parts replacement, and basic troubleshooting. Perform clerical tasks such as computer entries, accounts payable/receivable, paperwork completion, and management--particularly third-party documentation. Manage shipping, receiving, and preparation of hearing aid orders for fittings. Handle cash float and payment processing. Maintain a clean and organized office, including daily light cleaning and disinfecting procedures.
Qualifications:

Outgoing, friendly, and a true extrovert with a passion for providing excellent customer service. Mature, dependable, and seeking long-term employment. Self-motivated and able to follow direction while taking initiative.
