Healthcare Quality Coordinator

based in

Winnipeg, Manitoba

to join our Quality and Food Safety Team!



As the Healthcare Quality Coordinator you will play a key role in supporting the integrity of the operation dedicated to our medical, pharmaceutical and healthcare customers. Reporting to the Manager, Quality & Food Safety Systems, you will champion the implementation and continuous improvement of processes and best practices that safeguard our products, and partners. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will help shape and sustain quality initiatives that span from product development through manufacturing, delivery, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:




Translate customer requirements

into internal processes to ensure satisfaction and compliance across products for medical, pharmaceutical, and healthcare markets.

Ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards

such as ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP, and SQF.

Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures

to support accurate and compliant product manufacturing.

Provide guidance and support

to cross-functional teams on quality activities, requirements, and best practices.

Lead or assist in investigations of non-conformances

, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification.

Plan, conduct, and support internal and external audits

to assess quality management system performance and compliance.

Develop and deliver employee training programs

to ensure understanding and adherence to quality standards.

Collaborate with procurement and operations teams

to ensure raw materials, suppliers, and processes meet regulatory and internal standards.

Analyze quality performance metrics and data

to drive continuous improvement and preventive actions.

Support communication initiatives

across departments to promote awareness and a culture of quality and compliance.

Required Qualifications:




Post-secondary degree in science, engineering, or a related field (required). 3+ years in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device manufacturing with exposure to quality management systems or quality assurance processes. Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP, and other industry standards/regulations. 3+ years of experience with quality issue investigations, root cause analysis, and problem-solving. Familiarity with document control, process mapping, and risk analysis techniques. Effective verbal and written communication, including accurate report writing. Intermediate to advanced computer skills, with experience using Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:




ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 course certificates preferred. ISO 9001 Internal Auditor training preferred. Experience managing projects and coordinating audit programs preferred. Experience developing and delivering training programs preferred.

Additional Information:




This position is 100% onsite located in Murray Industrial Park in Winnipeg, Manitoba. There is limited bus access to this location.
