As a Health and Safety Intern, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting P&H Milling Groups health and safety department.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Update lockout placards to newest format
• Gather data for the development of new equipment specific lockout placards
• Work with PHMG maintenance and operations to validate equipment lockout procedures
• Create individual personnel photo id lockout tags

The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

• Currently enrolled or recently completed a post-secondary program/certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and virtual meeting platforms.
• Experience working with eCompliance and Eventbrite an asset.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, along with great attention to detail.
• Ability to research and identify reliable sources of information.
