We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. You will play a crucial role in promoting a culture of safety within the organization, particularly in our field operations. Your expertise will help minimize workplace hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety programs that comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Provide training and development programs for employees on health and safety practices, ensuring all staff are aware of their responsibilities.
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and compliance documentation.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to health and safety.
Collaborate with clients to ensure safe work practices, client-specific HSE requirements, and industry standards are met.
Skills
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in a oilfield well servicing/completions environment.
Excellent training & development skills with the ability to effectively communicate safety protocols to employees at all levels.
Proficient in conducting risk assessments and developing strategies for hazard mitigation.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate data related to workplace incidents and develop actionable solutions.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining compliance documentation.

Qualifications & Experience
Experience with oilfield well servicing/completions practices.
Formal HSE training - Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety would be an asset.
NCSO, NEBOSH (Internal General), CRTS, or CRSP certification would be an asset.
Extensive knowledge of Alberta's OHS legislation, and AER regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
