Roles & Responsibilities:



Conduct daily site inspections, meticulously documenting findings and generating comprehensive reports. Develop and refine Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures, tailoring them to specific project sites. Oversee the administration of safety training documentation, proactively identifying expired certifications and facilitating re-training initiatives. Ensure strict adherence to legislative requirements, conducting thorough worksite inspections to uphold compliance standards. Spearhead the development of protocols for safe work practices, consistently striving to enhance our HSE management system. Prepare Job Task Analyses to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks effectively. Deliver toolbox talks and provide training sessions in response to incidents or safety concerns raised by employees. Conduct safety training and orientation sessions for personnel.

Qualifications:



Possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in an HSE capacity involving the planning, management, and implementation of HSE protocols. Hold a post-secondary degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, or equivalent experience. Preference given to candidates with NCSO certification. Demonstrated proficiency in OH&S Acts and other pertinent legislation. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Must be willing to travel to various locations; a valid driver's license is required. Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Strong organizational skills with an acute attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving and strategic planning abilities. Proficient in time management, adept at multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,530.24-$65,000.00 per year
