The Health Promotion Specialist is primarily responsible for the development, implementation, and assessment of initiatives designed to support and engage students in maintaining and enhancing their overall wellbeing. The incumbent is an integral member of the Student Leadership Development and First Year Experience (SLD/FYE) team ensuring wellbeing is integrated into fundamental programming and services. With a focus on the implementation of the student-focused initiatives tied to the College's Wellness Strategy and First Year Experience, the incumbent develops and oversees services designed to enhance proactive intervention and access throughout the student life cycle. This includes outreach and student-led initiatives, liaising with campus and community partners, as well as designing and delivering wellness and intervention training, consultation, and education. The incumbent works in collaboration with College programs and services and with community stakeholders to ensure students have access to, and knowledge of, all well-being supports and services available both on and off-campus.
