Take your ambitions to the next level

As a Health Practice Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of business development for the Health Practice and support the implementation of strategic plans and directions.

• Lead the development and implementation of the action plan/strategic plan for the development of the health practice;
• Establish a common strategic vision for the development of the healthcare sector for the Canadian market;
• Determine business priorities, ensure the achievement of growth and profitability objectives for the practice and develop the financial plan;
• Develop alliances or business partnerships if required;
• Promote the pooling of expertise and existing tools in all business units;
• Ensure optimal communication of activities to all business units;
• Ensure a technological and market watch to provide services in line with the needs of the health sector.

Does this sound like you?

• University education in a discipline relevant to the job (health sector, applied health technology or business);
• At least ten (10) years of experience in the health sector and five (5) years in the technology sector;
• Knowledge of the Quebec health market and network, its context, administrative operations and issues, and a network of influential contacts;
• Political acumen:

• Understanding of the influential position of the players in the health sector;
• Ability to:

• put government policies and orientations into context;
• evaluate the impact of political decisions on government, partners, clients, unions, etc.;
• detect the relative power of different stakeholders;
• seek the right time for implementing a decision.
• Ability to:

• manage the customer relationship;
• act with full autonomy and engage teams;
• Creative, change-driven, intuitive, and business-minded;
• Comfortable travelling within your territory;
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken;
• Communication with teams in French and English. Level expected:

• French: 4/4
• English: 4/4
