OverviewThe Health Benefits Unit and Payment Services team within the Health Care Operations department of WorkSafeBC are looking for four highly motivated Health Care Payment Officer to join our team to help us strive towards our vision.In this role, youxe2x80x99ll be calculating payments, therefore, sound math skills will be an asset to assist you with adjudicating and processing accounts for medical treatment expenses. Please note that training will be conducted on-site.What you'll do

  • Entitle and process health care benefits and travel arrangements for injured workers
  • Process invoices and answer inquiries from health care providers, vendors, and workers
  • Communicate with claimants, internal staff, physicians, hospitals, etc., to obtain or clarify payment information
  • Authorize and process health care expenditures on a variety of payment systems

Your background and experience
  • A minimum of grade 12 education
  • Experience with Excel
