We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to an individual in their home. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving and a strong desire to improve the quality of life for those they care for. This role requires a blend of empathy, patience, and practical skills to ensure the well-being of clients.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Assist with meal preparation and patiently feeding the client Support client with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times. Engage client in ROM exercises and massage client for circulation. Assistance in Peri care and skin care. Maintain a clean and safe environment within the home. Document daily care activities and report any concerns to family members or healthcare professionals. Laundy and housekeeping included

Skills

Proven experience in caregiving, particularly in home care and HCA expereince Knowledge of medication administration protocols and best practices. Experience with hospice care or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Understanding of Senior care techniques and strategies to assist client effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and the families Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with grace. A nurturing attitude combined with a commitment to providing high-quality care. First aid, CPR and criminal check required.

Evening shift 5 to 9 pm Monday to Sunday Sunday availability
