First Nations Health Authority is looking for a Health Benefits Assessor who will review, assess and adjudicate FNHA Health Benefit requests including prior approvals, amendments, post approvals, invoices and client reimbursements. Title: Health Benefits Assessor, Medical Transportation Contract: Term to March, 2024 Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm, 8:30am to 4:30pm, or 9:00am to 5:00pm Location: 701-1166 Alberni St, Vancouver About the role As Health Benefits Assessor, Medical Transportation, you will review, assess, and adjudicate First Nations Health Benefits requests. This role processes payments and client reimbursements; conducts analysis and provides recommendations regarding exceptions and appeals; provides program information to key stakeholders; and maintains records and systems. About you To be successful in this role you will have Grade 12 education, including completion of one year of post-secondary education, plus one (1) year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
