We are seeking a

Health and Safety Representative

to join our team -- an ideal opportunity for someone

beginning their career in occupational health and safety

who holds or is working toward their

NCSO designation

.

What You'll Do

As our Health & Safety Representative, you'll play a vital role in promoting a culture of safety across all operations. You will:

Champion Crystal's Health & Safety Program and drive continuous improvement. Lead investigations into incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with clients and partners on safe work procedures, JHAs, and hazard assessments during project planning. Monitor and evaluate safety compliance on job sites (approx. 15 hrs/week). Manage WCB claims and return-to-work programs. Deliver new hire orientations, toolbox talks, and monthly safety meetings. Maintain training records, safety certifications, PPE inventories, and COR certification. Prepare monthly safety analytics and reports for management. Support the Asset Manager with equipment inspections as needed.

What We're Looking For

1-3 years of construction industry safety experience NCSO designation (or currently working toward it) Completion of COR required training (PHSM, LSE, LEG, ATP) Class 5 driver's license and clean abstract Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently Confident communicator with a proactive, hands-on attitude
