Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and enforce compliance with workplace safety regulations. Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments. Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and protocols. Provide training and resources to employees to promote a culture of safety. Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Qualifications:
Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., CRSP, NCSO). Previous experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry. Knowledge of provincial and federal safety regulations. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
