Scope
We are currently looking for outgoing, enthusiastic & reliable Head Skating Instructors for the Learn-To-Skate programs. This role requires you to be available to work evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
As a Head Skating Instructor, you will be an on-ice supervisor for our skating lesson programs. Responsibilities include: Supervising current Skating Instructors and when needed teaching various levels of skating to pre-school and school age children as required. Organizing all class lists and being actively involved in regular training and updating of teaching skills of staff. Communicating with parents utilizing your strong communication skills.
Qualifications
NCCP Theory Level 2. Junior Instructor Program. 3 years' experience as an instructor. Has an equivalent combination of education and experience. Emergency First Aid and CPR certification. Demonstrates proficient skating abilities and a thorough knowledge of ice-skating skills. Advanced teaching and coaching skills. Previous Supervisory experience in a related field. Interacts well with children and adults.
