The Lead Server/ Shift Lead is responsible for day to day operations and management of the FOH when the restaurant manager is not around. They are responsible for supervising the FOH staff, communicating with the kitchen, and working together with the rest of the management team in all areas of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
Supervising FOH staff and ensuring job duties and standards of service are being met when the restaurant manager is not scheduled
Overseeing service and ensuring all opening and closing duties are completed
Completing the pre-shift with the Chef
Checking all server cash-outs at the end of the night
Training FOH staff according to the training schedule
Having deep and thorough knowledge of the food menu, wine menu, and operational aspects of the restaurant
Programming the POS system
Handle issues as they arise with guests
Compensation
$15/hour wage when serving and $16/hour when supervising. Included in tip pool when supervising.
Free meal when working more than 6 hours
