We are seeking an exceptional Sales leader to Head Sales activities in Canada, generate new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales goals. Purpose: This role requires broad scope analysis and understanding of the pharmaceutical market, including its players, products and competitors. Additionally, the ability to negotiate win-win results and the ability to see the complete picture, identify opportunities and execute on them in a timely manner. Thorough strategic thinking and awareness, the incumbent executes on timely opportunities and provides valuable insights and recommendations to management. The ideal candidate possesses strong strategic and leadership skills, multi-tasking capabilities, networking base and skills, is energetic, self-motivated, has strong inter-personal skills and can work under minimal supervision. Travel Requirements: Domestic - 35% Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Achieve sales targets as defined and manage p rofitability of each of the product commercialized \xe2\x80\xa2 Continuously analyze assigned customer base to identify and develop new opportunities and re-evaluate existing opportunities. Identify new customers through market analysis \xe2\x80\xa2 Support Portfolio team to identify new products and create business case to support new product development \xe2\x80\xa2 A ssist in the execution of commercial and developmental purchase orders and agreements with the assigned accounts \xe2\x80\xa2 Have a complete understanding of North American Generics (NAG) portfolio; prepare for customer meetings through customer analysis and opportunity identification \xe2\x80\xa2 Effectively communicate our value proposition through presentations and proposals \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee the performance of the Canada sales team \xe2\x80\xa2 Travel throughout the defined territories in order to maximize sales and meet the target number of visits \xe2\x80\xa2 Represent the company at Trade shows and conferences \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop pre-launch and launch marketing plans \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure continuous review of product and market performance, competitive intelligence, field force capacity and needs, market research to identify key growth opportunities and hurdles facing the product sales \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for managing defined accounts with back-office customer service, marketing, finance and logistical support \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead and motivate staff to provide best-in-class service to our customers \xe2\x80\xa2 Meet all customers\' needs based on identification, presentation and sale of products to the customer \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop in-depth knowledge of the product line, understanding the needs of this group of customers, the competitive landscape and knowing how to sell Canada products based on their requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide strategic insight to the internal management team and suggest ideas for enhancement of operations or improvement \xe2\x80\xa2 Interact with global business units and customer base \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with the General Manager in defining and refining the Canada Strategy Plan with input for customer needs Qualifications / Skills: \xe2\x80\xa2 BS/BA required (sciences or business/finance), MBA optional but preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated increasing responsibility \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong understanding of the Canadian commercial landscape for pharmaceuticals \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in market access. Good understanding of the marketplace dynamics and evolving trends. Ideally, also experience in the generics marketplace and in some combination of sales, sales management, marketing, and/or account management \xe2\x80\xa2 Strategic thinker with demonstrated problem solving skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Effective project management skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Clear communicator with matrix leadership capabilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of the applicable Canadian legal and regulatory environment COVID-19 Vaccination Vaccination remains the most effective way to halt the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, and Dr. Reddy\'s encourages all employees to be vaccinated.
