Head Race Team Coach
Job Description
Plan and run on-water and land-based training sessions
Teach advanced sailing skills, racing strategy, and boat handling
Prepare sailors for local and out of province regattas
Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
Provide constructive feedback and encourage teamwork
Assist with boat care, rigging, and basic equipment maintenance
Run up to three Race Team training nights a week
Report to manager
Update CANSail progress of athletes
Parent meetings
help with fundraising
Must have Minimum CANSail 5 & 6 Instructor course
Current standard First Aid, CPR level C and AED certification
Have a valid PCOC (Pleasure Craft Operators Card)
Instructor dues paid and be registered with Sail Canada
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 25 per week
Work Location: In person
