We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a variety of delicious pastries and desserts that delight our customers. Duties
Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes
Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal
Assist in food preparation tasks, including measuring ingredients and mixing batter
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards
Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring quality presentation
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours
Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries about pastry offerings
Experience
Previous 5 years experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred
Knowledge of Italian pastries
Proficiency in cake decorating techniques is highly desirable
Knowledge of food preparation methods and cooking techniques
Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations
Experience in the food industry, particularly in baking or pastry arts
Strong kitchen experience with an ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent customer service skills to enhance guest experiences
