The opportunity:





Reporting to the President, iAS, the Head of Advisor Engagement, Western Region is responsible for overseeing and enhancing relationships with Investment Advisors in Alberta, BC and the western parts of Saskatchewan.



This role is critical in ensuring that iAS products, services and value propositions are effectively communicated to advisors to drive business growth, improve client satisfactions and support the strategic goals of the organization.


Key responsibilities include:




Advisor Relationship Management & Sales + Developing and implementing strategies to strengthen relationships with investment advisors.
+ Promoting and selling iAS fund products and solutions to Wellington-Altus advisors, their clients, and prospects.
+ Serving as the primary point of contact for advisor teams on all matters iAS, addressing concerns and ensuring needs are met.
+ Building and maintaining a strong network of advisors across key markets, leveraging these relationships to drive business growth.
Advisor Engagement Strategy + Leading the creation, implementation and execution of advisor engagement strategies to increase advisor retention, satisfaction and productivity.
+ Utilizing data and feedback from advisors to continuously improve the advisor experience and refine engagement efforts.
+ Overseeing the creation of targeted educational programs, events and resources for advisors to help them better serve their clients.
+ Cultivating strong relationships with key clients to provide investment solutions to meet the evolving needs and objectives of clients.
Relationship Management + Collaborating with marketing, sales and product teams to develop and deliver tools, resources and communications that support advisors.
+ Collaborating with senior leadership team to align advisor engagement strategies with overall goals.
+ Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
Leadership & Team Development + Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous learning within the iAS team.

The ideal candidate will possess:




A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business is required. 7+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on advisor engagement, relationship management or business development. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is an asset. Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation is an asset. Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. An ability to adapt to changing circumstances and be flexible when needed. A high level of accountability, reliability, adaptability, and innovation in accomplishing day-to-day work and long-term goals. An excellent attitude and commitment to providing extraordinary service. Excellent attention to detail. Exemplary interpersonal and influencing skills; an ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively, across multiple mediums (in-person, over the phone, and virtually). Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills. A high tolerance for ambiguity; highly adaptive and able to manage a large volume of competing priorities. Strong critical thinking and written and verbal communication skills. An ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.

Conditions of employment:




Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Must be able to travel anywhere in Canada up to 25-50% of the time. A background check, satisfactory to the employer, may be required of the successful applicant prior to commencing employment.
