We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
Lead and supervise the kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment
Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish
Develop and update menu items in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling and hygiene
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize kitchen operations
Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards
Collaborate with restaurant management to coordinate service flow and enhance guest satisfaction
Monitor kitchen cleanliness and organization to uphold health standards
Serve as a role model for professionalism, hospitality, and leadership within the team
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry best practices
Excellent team management and leadership abilities to motivate staff effectively
In-depth knowledge of restaurant management operations including food safety regulations
Skilled in food handling, serving techniques, and maintaining high standards of hospitality
Demonstrated experience in restaurant or kitchen management roles
Ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with staff and ensure seamless service delivery
