Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef with strong management capabilities. The individual will be responsible for being the head of the entire kitchen operation from managing inventory, budgeting and menu planning, to training & scheduling all kitchen staff. The individual will also ensure the high standard of food quality and that service runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your leadership will inspire our team to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Duties

Develop and design creative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current food trends. Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills. Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor food quality and consistency, making adjustments as necessary to meet standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.

Requirements

:

Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and food handling practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team. Creativity in menu development with an understanding of Italian food trends. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and management. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays
