We are seeking a passionate and skilled full-time Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, along with excellent leadership abilities to manage kitchen operations effectively. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Range of pay dependant on experience. Tips provide an extra $8-$10 per hour.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and high-quality food production.
Prepare and present dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
Monitor food costs and assist in budget management for the kitchen department.
Address any customer feedback or concerns regarding food quality or service.
Train any future new hires to our standards.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry or restaurant management.
Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety regulations.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers.
