Some of the job duties include but are not limited to:

Responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the pantry, pizza oven and/or stations or other areas of the kitchen. Sets up station according to restaurant guidelines. Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner. Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant. Monitor, mentor and train cooks Ensure and implement Waymarker training and operational procedures Monitor and co-ordinate with food providers regarding food pricing Restocks all items as needed throughout shift. Cleans and maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills. Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas. Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Chef at any time

Required Qualifications:

At least 1 year of direct work experience in a management capacity Minimum of 3 years kitchen experience Must be able speak, read and write in English Must have strong knowledge of cooking and food handling procedures The individual must be able to lift up to 45lbs Understanding and knowledge of safety, and sanitation Ability to take direction. Ability to work in a team environment and as an individual Ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast paced environment. Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized. Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.
