We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in creating exceptional dining experiences. We expect our candidates to have a minimum of 3 years experience serving excellent Italian cuisine, and come to work everyday with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and high-quality food production.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
Manage kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to foster a positive team environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively to maximize profitability.
Implement new cooking techniques and presentation styles to enhance the overall dining experience.
Handle any customer feedback or complaints professionally to maintain customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a passion for culinary creativity.
Experience in restaurant management, including inventory control and cost management.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Bartending experience is a plus for enhancing guest service during events or special occasions.
A commitment to continuous learning and improvement within the culinary field.
