We are seeking a passionate and skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

Prepare and cook authentic ethnic dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in menu planning and development to introduce new culinary options Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper knife skills and equipment sanitation Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality food service in a timely manner Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering ingredients as needed Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards Ensure proper portioning and presentation of dishes for both dine-in and take-out orders

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within ethnic cuisine settings Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling techniques Ability to plan menus that reflect authentic ethnic flavors while accommodating dietary needs Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Experience with catering, fine dining, or restaurant environments preferred Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and safety Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and management

Experience

3 year minimum less than 5 years
