Job Overview


The Head plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and ensuring that all food service standards are met. This position requires a strong leader who can manage staff, maintain high-quality food preparation, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. The Head will be responsible for creating a positive dining experience for guests by ensuring that meals are prepared and served to perfection.

Duties



Lead and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking processes. Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and presentation standards. Oversee meal preparation schedules to ensure timely service during peak hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen to comply with health and safety regulations. Train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures, cooking techniques, and safety protocols. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and order as necessary to maintain stock. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Ensure that all food safety guidelines are strictly followed to prevent contamination or spoilage.

Skills



Proficient in serving, food preparation, cooking, and overall food service operations. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the restaurant industry. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable, showcasing familiarity with fast-paced environments. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in meal preparation. Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration and guest interaction. Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide kitchen staff towards achieving operational goals. Passion for the food industry with a commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
