We welcome an energetic, hard-working, problem-solving and detail-oriented person to join our small, dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong appreciation for craft beer and a willingness to learn and experiment with new brewing techniques.

Primary Responsibilities

Collaborate on scheduling and managing all production operations. Manage brewhouse operations and ensure a safe working environment. Lead and execute the brewing process in a safe and efficient manner. This includes, but is not limited to, malt preparation and milling, mashing, lautering, wort production and boiling, cooling, transferring to fermenters, packaging, etc. Manage CIP of brewhouse and cellar. Maintain strict quality control by instilling processes to manage tastings, beer designs and inventory. Maintain equipment including brew house, draft system and troubleshoot problems. Work closely with and report directly to both owners. Good understanding of quality assurance/control, problem-solving skills and troubleshoot any beer related issues. Handle and manage yeast propagation and storage by following proper harvesting, pitching and disposal procedures. Manage inventory of raw materials on a regular basis, prepare order requirements. Supervise and execute all cellaring duties, canning, bottling and keg filling. Communicate effectively with staff, owners and customers. Work independently to manage production. Maintain beer production records and inventory. Run POS system and front of house when needed. Assist with any tasks that need to be completed in and around the brewery. Tend to hop farm when needed.
Ideal Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience working on a brewery production team. Formal brewing education. Must be able to lift 55 lbs. Able to stand and work for up to 8-12 hours. Knowledge and understanding of Excel, Google Drive and other brewery related software. Flexible hours. Occasionally work with the events team when required.

Pay: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
