Our Calgary based O&G client requires a HCM/SuccessFactors Competency Management Advisor for a 1 year contract to advise and manage the evolution of their CMS aligned to their Organization requirements and S4HANA /SuccessFactors solutions. This role is to advise on the recommendation a Competency Management system with will align/integrate with SuccessFactors which will define roles in the org structure, the job descriptions and training required .Duration: 1 year contract, target start date April 15th
Location: Calgary, Alberta, Cenovus downtown office
Schedule: Mon \xc2\x96 Fri, 8 hrs./day (4 days in office, 1 day work from home)This is a technical and business facing role, which requires a high level of technical knowledge, customer service and partnerships both within the business and HR. Further, your key stakeholders could include:

Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated experience in competency management including program build, competency
Experience supporting Success Factors and competencies considered an asset
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in competency management administration and ownership
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Oil and Gas (or related) industry experience (1-2 years) an asset
Organizational and process management skills as demonstrated by an ability to manage
Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
Willingness to take initiative to improve business processes related to competency needsResponsibilities:
\xc2\x95 Determine CMS build activities (Success Factors)
\xc2\x95 Design, support and test all client inquiries related to CMS & Competency logistics
\xc2\x95 Support the day-to-day operations of the internal Competency Management team and activities
\xc2\x95 Act as the Technical subject matter expert for Competency Management, including troubleshooting issues and responding to client inquiries\xc2\x95 Test and implement CMS activities and provide end-user support
\xc2\x95 Maintain and ensure data integrity across Leadership & Employee Development
\xc2\x95 Build and generate custom reports from the CMS as required
\xc2\x95 Maintain and ensure adherence to the Competency Management standards & governance
\xc2\x95 Facilitate and support all learning partner training sessions
\xc2\x95 Participate in creating a cohesive team atmosphere as well as providing support to others
Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
