Hatchery Worker
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Working on an agricultural line handling chicks and eggs
Transferring eggs from incubators to hatchers
Clean and disinfect equipment using appropriate method (high pressure, mop, washer, etc.
Maintaining all health and safety standards
Other duties as required
Requirements.
Ability to work with live poultry.
Must be comfortable with repetitive motions including bending, lifting, and turning
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably
Ability to work in a team environment.
Comfortable dealing with live animals
Comfortable working in hot, humid and at times dusty conditions
No interactions with chickens or turkeys during off time
Reliable transportation
Grade 12 or equivalent preferred
The Production Worker position starts at an hourly wage of $24/hr with a minimum of 35 hours/week. We also offer excellent medical and pension benefits.
