Reporting to the Seawater Operations Manager, the Harvest and Treatment Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of both harvests during the winter months and sea lice treatments during the summer months. A key part of this role is overseeing the coordination between staff, vessels, and other divisions of the company (for example sales and farm staff). The Harvest and Treatment Coordinator is responsible to set weekly harvest or treatment plans and communicating these out to all stakeholders in the projects, as well as regular updates to include any potential changes or issues.
As leader of the harvest team, the Harvest and Treatment Coordinator is also responsible for managing the harvest offload technicians to ensure timely and safe offload of product into trucks for shipment to the processing plant.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee a small team of Harvest Technicians
Schedule harvest or treatment activities on site
Track harvest progress and monitor KPIs including developing a mitigation plan if key measurables are not being met. If in treatment season, assess sea lice numbers and formulate a treatment schedule for the coming week.
Coordinate between all departments to create a successful harvest or treatment, including but not limited to site crew, vessels, trucks, processor, sales.
Review and track invoicing to ensure accuracy.
Finalize any financial information required for month end; ensure proper and accurate invoicing.
Communicate directly with site staff, vessels, and trucks to assess fitness of weather for all areas of the harvest or treatment to ensure a safe work environment for everyone.
Problem solve any harvest related downgrades to continually improve harvest quality and final product.
Work with Seawater Operations Manager to come up with key goals and objectives for the coming year. Critically analyze the previous year's objectives and determine any major wins or losses for the department. In terms of losses, identify core reasons for the miss and how improvements could be made for the following year.
Follow safe working practices and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Ensure that all direct reports do the same.
Other appropriate duties as required by the Seawater Operations Manager.

The ability to obtain pesticide applicators license in Newfoundland
Ability to use software including Fish Talk, Aquacom, Site Docs and MS Suites

The Harvest Treatment Coordinator position is located in Marystown, NL.
