Oak Bay Home Hardware is seeking one experienced customer service person to join the team. This is a mixed duty position involving all aspects of keeping up a small store, so we're looking for a good multitasker who comes with some related knowledge and can learn more as they go. We're open to either a full or part time person depending on your availability/needs. Reliability and consistent availability are what we're after.
Tasks include cashiering, stocking shelves, receiving inventory, unloading shipments, guiding customers, answering product questions, answering phones, cleaning, and tidying/organizing merchandise. Key cutting and paint mixing would ideally join the lineup as training progresses.
Must have previous cash handling experience in a retail setting and decent computer skills. This job is physical and moderate lifting is involved.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
