Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and friendly Front Store Customer Service Representative to join our team at Hamilton Meat Pie Co. As the face of our bakery, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring they have a positive experience from the moment they walk in. Your role will involve a variety of tasks, from taking orders to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Duties

- Provide customer service via phone, email, and chat
- Assist customers with product inquiries, orders, and issue resolution
- Up-sell products or services to customers when appropriate
- Accurately make reports/ counts during the day
- Perform daily duties and responsibilities

Requirements

- Take customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Handle cash, process various transactions, and provide correct change to customers.
- Prepare and assemble food orders.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and rotate perishable items to maintain freshness.
- Provide friendly and prompt service to customers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
- Assist with cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide suitable solutions
- Proficiency in multitasking
- Prior experience in customer service/ food background is preferred

Experience Requirements & Skills

- Previous experience in a customer service role is required, ideally in a fast-paced bakery environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues.
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks within few weeks.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
