Hardware Manager - Keewatin Branch

The Hardware Manager is responsible for the timely replenishment and merchandising of assigned SKUs in a selected group of categories to help create a well-organized and functional facility with a large assortment of merchandise.

As a valuable member of our team your duties will include:

All functions associated with the purchasing and receiving of hardware related items Attend weekly calls with the Marketing Team and Hardware Managers from other retail locations to collaborate on merchandising techniques, discuss new products and review upcoming flyers Keeps team members up to date on company flyers and new product knowledge Supervises and manages the Service Desk team while developing employees' skills and competencies Assists customers through their purchase process in a friendly and knowledgeable manner
The successful candidate will:

Create an enjoyable and team-orientated work environment for staff by effectively communicating the company vision, mission and values Show a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service Be physically able to repeatedly lift/carry over 50lbs The ability to work in a fast paced team environment is essential Previous experience is preferred and knowledge of building materials is an asset but not required Display a desire to expand on their knowledge and skill set Comply with all company policies and procedures including the Health and Safety program Available to work various shifts including weekends
