Come build the future of money with us!As a Hardware Lab and Test Site Manager you will:Test Hub DutiesManage an off-site test hub that operates Bitcoin mining rigsRun day-to-day tasks for a smooth operation of the test hub (monitor the operation of devices, examine environmental parameters such as temperature and power, review logs, document and report any issues)Be on site as needed for troubleshooting, responding to requests from software/firmware/EE teamsDeal with building site issuesMange interface and communication with power/utility companies, landlord, 3rd party suppliers and service providersCollect operational data and metrics for the hub, and share with the rest of the mining team.Lab Technician DutiesManage an electronic hardware lab dedicated to bitcoin miningAssemble, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic components and systems that are used by the software developers on the teamSource replacement parts for electronic systems.Provide hands-on support for engineering teams, industrial mining customers, including debugging of Block\'s latest mining productsQualificationsYou Have:5+ years of experience in electronics test, technician, and/or manufacturing industryExperience with electronics lab measurements and test equipmentExperience in soldering, troubleshooting of electronics circuits, re-work and debugging electronics hardware circuits.Familiarity with the command-line interface, basic shell scripting, and navigating the Linux file systemFamiliar with and adept at using various tools to update and maintain the software components of hardware systemsNice to have:Knowledge of BitcoinFamiliarity with Bitcoin mining operationFamiliarity with high-performance computing (HPC), data center or server environment is a plusFamiliarity with computer networking, equipment, tools and conceptsAdditional InformationBlock takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Canada locations are categorized into one of two zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate\'s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.Zone A: CAD $82,100 - CAD $123,100
