About you and this role

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Hardware Discipline Technologist Lead located in Fort Saskatchewan (AB, CAN).

The Hardware Discipline Technologist Lead provides specialized technical support and solutions for the civil discipline on project teams, operations and maintenance. Understands and implements Most Effective Technology (MET), work process, tools and industry best practices within their discipline. Requires broadened technical skills in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities. May act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

Responsibilities

• Enables the people who manage and/or perform work in the field with the tools and information needed to perform their job effectively and efficiently.
• Requires full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or analytical/scientific processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a variety of work assignments.
• Acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a 2 year diploma (i.e. Associate\'s Degree, Vocational Program) OR 4+ years of military experience OR in lieu of diploma/military, 8 or more years of hardware, manufacturing or other related experience experience required
• A minimum 5 years of hardware, manufacturing or other related experience.
• A minimum requirement for this Canada based position is the ability to work legally in Canada. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position
