Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Team Member to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various construction techniques and tools, demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively on diverse projects. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety, contributing to the successful completion of construction tasks.

Duties



Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Assist in concrete forming and finishing processes, ensuring high-quality results. Engage in carpentry work, including cabinet installation and restoration projects. Perform masonry tasks as needed, including bricklaying and stonework. Conduct plumbing installations and repairs, ensuring compliance with regulations. Execute electrical work under supervision, adhering to safety standards. Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently when required. Apply caulking and painting techniques to finish projects professionally. Lay flooring and tile according to specifications, ensuring durability and aesthetics. Collaborate with team members to estimate project costs accurately, contributing to overall project planning.

Requirements



Proven experience in construction or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation. Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and electrical work is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship and safety practices. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges encountered on-site. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.40-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Licence/Certification:

Class 5 Drivers License (preferred)
