Job Description

Are you driven, hard-working, and enjoy hands-on outdoor work? We're looking for a physically fit team member to join our hardscape division, working year-round on high-quality outdoor construction projects--patios, walkways, retaining walls, driveways, and more--for both residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Hardscape Installation:

Lay concrete, stone, and clay pavers; build retaining walls, patios, walkways, and driveways.

Site Preparation:

Excavate, grade, and compact materials for durable site foundations.

Tool Use:

Safely operate hand and power tools: compactors, saws, drills, and more.

Team Collaboration:

Cooperate with crew members to finish projects on time and to spec.

Safety Practices:

Adhere to safety protocols; actively participate in safety meetings.

Customer Service:

Present yourself professionally and communicate courteously with clients and the public.

Repairs/Maintenance:

Assist with repairs or upgrades to existing hardscape features.

Qualifications

Experience:

Background in hardscape installation is required., landscaping, or related construction is an asset

Physical Demands:

Able to lift, kneel, stand, and work outdoors in all weather for extended periods.

Driver's Licence:

Valid Class 5 BC licence; clean driver's abstract preferred.

Certifications:

ICPI Concrete Paver Installer or NCMA Segmental Retaining Wall credentials welcomed but not required. Excellent attention to detail, independent initiative, reliable teamwork, and clear communication.
